LACMA

LACMA's Ceramics catalog and advertisement design were made for the moment, a celebration of the ceramics department at LACMA. The design was based on Peter Shire's avant-garde cups. Marketing collateral such as stickers and billboards used circle "frames" in Shire's cups.



The story for LACMA’s exhibition thrives in and out of the public canvas. Working on this helped me see how publicadvertisements can be a place to showcase and a precious moment to teach. Thank you to the marketing team for the opportunity!

Verkada, a cloud based physical security company that makes high-end security cameras for enterprise level organizations.

As a Presentation Designer I came up with internal and external deck designs that were original to the company branding and solved needs of industry specific communications to audiences in Australia, Europe, and USA.

I used Blender’s 3-D space and Photoshop’s precise material coloring to create a realistic product mock-up showcasing NorthBurl's capabilites, which helped drive up client engagement. 



NorthBurl’s brand story is captured beautifully in the warmth and simplicity of its unique furniture designs.
Each piece tells its own narrative through the distinctive wood grains of tables and dividers.
It was a pleasure collaborating with NorthBurl and their clients.







Deep Dive

To prepare images for both digital and print, I used Adobe Photoshop, ensuring visual consistency and quality across various media. Hero images and exterior wall shots were personally photographed on-site, further enhancing authenticity and brand impact. Specifically, the A-frame poster (seen in the last image) required rapid turnaround; due to tight deadlines, approximately 90% of the visual assets were efficiently generated using Adobe Generative Fill, allowing for quick yet visually compelling results.

Avisi is a medical device company treating glaucoma, a disease that can cause permanent blindness. To strengthen brand consistency, I created a comprehensive Branding Guideline Book and cohesive visual assets for LinkedIn and investor communications, resulting in a 75% improvement in brand cohesion and a 40% increase in audience retention.

Branding Avisi’s was an honor because of how much the company is growing. It was my first time designing for FDA compliance and I learned a lot about how design and presentation can have a big impact in the apporval of a product.I can’t wait to see how Avisi takes the glaucoma device market by storm!





Deep Dive
Avisi Tech

Brand Establishment. After conducting an in-depth analysis of competitors within the glaucoma device industry, I observed minimal art involved in the older brands and a modern abstraction in the newer ones. I pitched using a cohesive, minimalist color palette which has now been adopted. This deliberate approach positioned the brand as sleek, modern, and distinctively innovative.

Pitch Deck Redesign. A key goal of the pitch deck redesign was to enhance visual clarity, specifically accommodating users with visual impairments. I accomplished this through careful implementation of high-contrast typography and strategic drop shadows, greatly improving readability and accessibility. Additionally, I paid meticulous attention to ensuring the slide headers and footers remained clean and uncluttered, providing a polished foundation for the content.


VisiPlate Visual Packaging Concept. For the pitch deck’s core visuals, I explored metaphoric representations of aqueous fluid movement, emphasizing the function of the Visiplate device in treating glaucoma. After iterative exploration, I developed a dynamic blue-gray gradient paired with a hexagonal graphic representation of Visiplate, softly dissipating toward the periphery to symbolize fluid flow. Lastly, the oversized typography for “VisiPlate” created a bold and striking visual presence unprecedented within the glaucoma industry, significantly amplifying brand memorability and market differentiation.

NurLabs is a biotech start-up founded in UCLA Anderson’s school of management. The startup aims to solve early cancer detection. I teamed up with the UCLA starup to to design their user interface. Furthermore, I used agile workflow to lead a group of software developers in completing this website's front-end and back-end.
