This is a carpet that can sense weight. When it senses weight, it turns on a haptic moter and sets of LEDS and creates a warm vibration from the carpet coming from three points. There are three weight sensors, also known as load cells, placed across the carpet with a moter and an LEDS paired with each sensor.
